Health Research Analysis Reports
The HRCS underpins three important UKCRC analysis reports which together provide a comprehensive overview of non-commercial health research funding in the UK. The analysis reports have been disseminated widely in the UK and had a major impact, providing the basis for high level strategy discussions and informing a number of joint funding initiatives.
The second report is the UK Health Research Analysis 2009/10 which was published in 2012. It is a repeat of the original national analysis of the UK's largest government and charity health research funders, the UK Health Research Analysis, published in 2006. The new report shows the significant changes in the UK health research landscape 5 years after the original.
The HRCS was also used to analyse the funding activities of 29 medium and smaller sized members of the Association of Medical Research Charities. This report, From Donation To Innovation, was published in 2007.
The third in the quinquennial series of UK Health Research Analyses, covering the 2014 calendar year, expanded the analysis to include 64 UK charity and public health research funders. The UK Health Research Analysis 2014, was published in August 2015.
